The Texas Mile is a twice yearly event where grassroots racers get to pit their machines against the mile long track in search of ever faster speeds.

We followed one team who were hoping to get their car into the record books by becoming 'The World’s Fastest Camaro' and are aiming to smash the 250mph barrier for the first time. They currently hold the fastest record at 246mph on this track.

Team owner Kelly Bise talks to Mobil 1 The Grid about how the team was formed and we speak with other members of the team about the problems that can go wrong when racing the Texas Mile.
