Stirling Moss on Monaco

Former F1 driver Sir Stirling Moss is a three time winner of the Monaco Grand Prix and Mobil 1 The Grid caught up with him at the 2012 Motorsport Hall of Fame evening in London to talk about the famous Monte Carlo street circuit.


Sir Stirling recalls three and a half hour races, or 100 laps, around the circuit but insists there was little danger even in the cars he was driving, provided you didn’t hit the walls!

Moss talks about the toughness of the circuit with having to change gear 14 times a lap and tells of obvious distractions such as having to wave at pretty girls…
