Grid1.tv caught up with Ryan 12 months after his victory in the 2010 Long Beach Grand Prix as he talks to us about his ambitions to bring the IndyCar series crown back to the US. As a previous resident of Long Beach for over seven years, Ryan tells us how important this race is to him.

Ryan’s win last year could not have come at a better time as he only had funding secured at the time for one more race, a situation he explains he is used to.
