After a 4 year absence, America's triumphant return to F1 in 2012 was no easy undertaking. We took a look at the new track being built in Austin, Texas - Circuit of the Americas.

It had been 4 years since Formula One was last held in the USA and Mobil 1 The Grid caught up with Bruce Knox, Vice President of Circuit of The Americas, as he talked about turning his visions of the circuit into a reality.

From the initial build starting in December 2010, the circuit was actually ready for Summer 2012 when the race was first scheduled. Little did they know it would be pushed back in the F1 calendar to November at the time though....
