In 2012, Bruno Senna, the nephew of F1 legend Ayrton Senna, talked to us of his hopes of a career in motorsport being dashed when his uncle died at Imola while leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix.

After starting karting at the age of five, it would be almost 10 years until he started racing again. Bruno missed vital years of racing experience and only returned to the sport he is so passionate about after gaining the approval of his family.

At the time, after racing for both Hispania and Lotus Renault, he was impressing at Williams F1 during the 2012 F1 season. We met him at the team HQ.
